Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss how any of the below can be incorporated into your therapy.

I have an interest in and experience of working with people with executive function challenges, such as those with ADHD or ASD.
Early on in therapy I will explore executive function with clients and identify any barriers to behaviour change. I will then support them in trying 'brain hacks' to improve their executive function and ability to make progress in therapy.

Whether it is adjusting your work and social calendar to your cycle, increasing awareness of changing self-care needs throughout the cycle or addressing cycle-specific mental health challenges, I am always open to discussing themes related to these phases.
I am also interested in working with those experiencing perimenopause and menopause and exploring the physical, cognitive and emotional changes that come with these life stages.

I am interested in the therapeutic experience that spending time with animals and nature can provide for some people. I hope to engage in further training on the use of animals in therapy and welcome well-behaved pets to therapy sessions.
I am also interested in conducting therapy in nature, such as while walking. I can deliver therapy sessions outside on request and following discussion, with those already in active therapy with me.

I am interested in working with people where spirituality is a key part of their wellness journey, or where they would like to explore their faith in more detail.
I am also interested in working with people to unpick long-held beliefs from growing up in a faith and consider the impact of this on their emotional wellbeing.
I work with people with a range of religions and beliefs, including those who are moving away from their religion. I believe that, for some, faith can be an incredible tool to support mental health, as well as provide community and social opportunities.

I am interested in the use of herbs and plants as an additional arm of wellness, alongside traditional medicine and therapy. I am currently completing a Professional Certificate in Herbal Medicine and Mental Health.
I cannot currently provide advice or treatment, but would be happy to discuss with clients any herbal remedies they have tried.
It is important to be aware that some herbs and plants can interact with medicines, and therefore advice should always be sought from your prescriber if you are considering herbal remedies.

For some, creative endeavours can be a useful tool for exploring their emotions and increasing their self-awareness. This may be creative writing, journaling, painting and drawing or crafting. Certain computer games can also be creative, as can projects around the house or garden.
Creativity can also support people in expressing themselves, when talking is difficult. I will always encourage my clients to communicate in the way that suits them best, and share their creative projects with me if they would like to.
